Masterpiece

I was building a lego PacMan Arcade set and it reminded me of how it took a creator to make this masterpiece. Everything that is made in this life has a creator. If we think it arose from the Big Bang, we will be deeply mistaken because the Big Bang violates the 2nd law of thermodynamics: Energy cannot be created or destroyed.

While I was engaged in the process of constructing a Lego Pac-Man Arcade set, I found myself reflecting on the profound significance of creation itself. This intricate assembly of colorful bricks and pieces not only serves as a nostalgic homage to a beloved classic video game but also stands as a testament to the ingenuity and creativity of its designer. It is a reminder that every object, every piece of art, and every technological marvel we encounter in our lives has a creator behind it—someone who envisioned it, planned it, and brought it into existence through their skills and imagination.

As I pieced together the vibrant components of the arcade set, I couldn't help but marvel at the thought that everything we see around us, from the simplest objects to the most complex systems, originates from the mind of a creator. This concept extends beyond just physical creations; it encompasses ideas, cultures, and innovations that shape our world. Every invention, every artistic expression, and every scientific breakthrough is a reflection of human creativity and the desire to create something meaningful.

This leads to a deeper philosophical inquiry about the origins of existence itself. Some may argue that everything we see today, including our universe, is a result of the Big Bang—a massive explosion that is said to have birthed the cosmos. However, this perspective raises significant questions, particularly when we consider the principles of physics, such as the second law of thermodynamics. This law asserts that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed from one form to another. If we apply this principle rigorously, we may find ourselves grappling with the implications of a universe that seemingly sprang into existence without a definitive creator or source.

The notion that the universe could have emerged spontaneously from a singularity challenges our understanding of causality and creation. It suggests a universe that operates under a set of rules and laws, yet lacks an initial impetus or designer. This perspective can lead to a misunderstanding of the nature of existence itself, as it implies that complexity and order can arise from chaos without any guiding hand.

In contrast, recognizing the necessity of a creator—whether that be a divine entity, a natural force, or even the collective efforts of humanity—provides a more coherent framework for understanding the intricate tapestry of life and the universe. It affirms that all things, from the smallest Lego piece to the vast cosmos, are part of a grand design, intricately woven together by the threads of intention and creativity.

Thus, as I continued to build my Lego PacMan Arcade set, I was reminded not only of the joy of creation but also of the deeper truths surrounding existence. Each brick I placed was a small part of a larger narrative, one that speaks to the essence of creation itself and the importance of recognizing the creators behind the things we cherish. In a world that often seeks to explain away the complexities of existence, it is vital to honor the idea that everything has a source—a creator who has imbued it with purpose and meaning.

This leads me to reflect deeply on the profound words of the Apostle Paul, which were thoughtfully penned in the book of Ephesians, a rich and theological letter that is found in the New Testament of the Bible. In Ephesians 2:10, we encounter the powerful declaration, "We are God's Masterpiece." How incredible is this statement! It encapsulates a profound truth about our identity and purpose. The Creator of the universe, the One who fashioned the stars and the mountains, has deemed each one of us as His unique creation, crafted with intention and love. He knitted me in my Mother's womb, as beautifully articulated in Psalms 139:13-14, where it states, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." This passage speaks volumes about our intrinsic worth and the care with which we were created. We are fearfully and wonderfully made, and this truth resonates deeply within our souls.

The notion that He knew my thoughts before I was even conceived in my Mother's womb speaks to the intimate relationship that God desires to have with each of us. He knows the very number of hairs on my head, and He is intimately acquainted with my entire being.

This awareness of our existence and our struggles is not just comforting; it is a ground-shaking, powerful statement that has the potential to revolutionize my thought process and the way I view myself. In a world that often tries to diminish our worth, this affirmation of being a masterpiece crafted by God serves as a reminder of our value and purpose. We often cry out "Abba Father" to God, acknowledging Him as our loving Father. This intimate term reflects a deep relationship, one that signifies trust, love, and security. We are indeed children of God, a truth that is beautifully reinforced in John 1:12-13, which states, "But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." This passage highlights the transformative power of faith and belief in Christ; it is through this relationship that we are granted the incredible privilege of being called the Children of God. Furthermore, Romans 8:15 elaborates on this relationship by stating, "So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, 'Abba Father.' For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering."

This passage not only emphasizes our identity as children of God but also highlights the profound implications of that identity. We are not just passive recipients of God’s love; we are active participants in His family, sharing in both His glory and His challenges. The spirit of adoption signifies that we are embraced into a divine family, one that provides us with a sense of belonging and purpose. In summary, these scriptural truths remind us of our incredible worth in the eyes of our Creator. We are not merely existing; we are masterpieces, intricately designed and cherished by God. Our identity as His children empowers us to live boldly and authentically, embracing both the joys and trials of life with the assurance that we are loved, known, and valued beyond measure.

In conclusion, the message of being God's masterpiece has revolutionized my thinking and has helped restore me. I am brand new in the sight of Jesus Christ. We are truly blessed to be God's masterpiece, created to do good works that He predestined for us to do. We are God's masterpiece. Remember this! It is so important to remember that you are God's masterpiece when we face mayday circumstances in this life. In this life, we might have troubles, but take heart, God has overcome our mayday circumstances. As you wake up and as you face trials, remember you are God's masterpiece created to do what God has called you to do. God loves you so, so much. He wants a relationship with you. He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, who knew no sin, to pay the penalty of your sin so that you may have eternal life and a place in heaven to call your own. He died a gruesome death on the cross. He was then buried in a borrowed tomb. Then, three days later, He rose again, conquering sin and death. If you believe that you are a sinner in need of a loving Savior, and if you are a fellow heir of Jesus Christ, that resurrection power lives in us. He is our living hope. We can always count on God!

WE CAN ALWAYS RELY ON GOD! REMEMBER THIS!

It always help when we face our darkest days. This truth has helped me in my job, my school, and at church. I love God. I want you to love God as well. Have a wonderful night!
