Forge Leadership Summit

Hey Readers,

Last week, I spent a week in Columbus, Ohio. At Columbus, I attended Forge Leadership Summit. Forge Leadership Summit is a five-day conference that helps people apply their biblical worldview to the political realm. While I was there, I heard from amazing speakers including Joseph Backholm, Bob McEwen, Justin Powell, US Congressman Davidson, Ohio State Representative Jena Powell, and Paul Isaacs. I also learned how to pass, amend, and vote for a bill. I decided to write my Bill on Family Immigration Reform. This Bill used some of the funds from ICE to establish community-based programs for immigrants so that they can have legal representation in the immigration court system. I also had the pleasure of amending some bills at the Ohio Statehouse. In Summary, I would recommend anyone to go to Forge Leadership Summit because it is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
