Personal Study: How to recognize that you are called Part 2 of 6

Over the past five years, I have been called to becoming a ministry coordinator for CEF of Kansas. This is an introduction of myself and why I am called to this position. This call was a decade in the making. I also did not seek this position out. After countless hours of prayer, fasting, and seeking godly counsel, I decided to embark on this faith-filled calling of being the next Ministry Coordinator of CEF of Kansas. Like in the Press Release, Waymaker Youth Mission is now partnered with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Kansas. Without further ado, let's analyze some more points on how to recognize that we are called and set apart for a distinct purpose in this life. I love explaining my passion to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and training them to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. This was the original mission statement of AWANA when I went through it as a clubber and as a leader for AWANAs. AWANA stands for "Approved Workman are not Ashamed." It is based on 1 Timothy 2:15. AWANA has the same goal as Child Evangelism Fellowship as well. Child Evangelism Fellowship's goal is for the children after they go through the after-school bible club to get further discipleship training through AWANAs and CYIA (Christian Youth in Action). We are trying to mobilize the young generation to tell their future generation the good news of Jesus Christ. Are you ready for a revival in Kansas?

Seventh, God will not tolerate your moaning. God wants you to be joyful. Psalms 84 has some key points on how to be joyful in your calling. 1) Joy comes from God. He is the living God. 2) Joy comes from sacrificial living. 3) Joy comes from living in God's house that has more than enough rooms. 4) Joy comes from the strength of the Lord. 5) Joy comes from trusting in God alone with our whole being, body, and soul. 6) Allow yourself to be a living sacrifice holy and pleasing to God. 7) Joy comes from pursuing the will of God. 8) Joy comes from shouting joyfully to God. Are you singing praises to God? 9) Joy comes from living a life for the Lord. 10) Joy comes from entering his gates with thanksgiving.

Eighth, the breathless society misses their calling on their life. This is found in Romans 10:9-17. The ruler of the new breath society is God alone. The New Breath society is located in Heaven and the ones who have experienced the Holy Spirit in their life. You must place 100% trust that Jesus is Lord over your life, confess your sins, and being free from your past. You have been made right with God through the precious blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:22b, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5-6). We have the Holy Spirit living inside of us. Our salvation is based on faith alone. We need to surrender everything and put Christ as the center. We must be all in for Christ. We must repent and turn from our wicked ways. Then, we will not be put to shame. Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. We put our trust in Christ alone (John 14:6). However, the breathless society misses this call on their life, and they are suffocating with Satan's lies that intoxicate their spiritual lungs. They are without an excuse (Romans 1:20). Satan has blinded the unbelievers' eyes. We need to pray that their eyes will be open to put their 100% trust that Jesus is the Lord over their life. We need to pray over them and pray hard for them to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and making Jesus center of their life in every facet.

Ninth, we must develop a network of prayer warriors. Prayer is a two-way street, not a one-way street. Prayer is essential against battling the dark forces of this earth. We do not wrestle with people, but with the principalities of this dark age (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we must bend our knees in prayer and lifting our hands in prayer so that the Devil may not get a foothold in our lives. You must have a prayer team in place to pray for you as you seek the calling God has placed on your life. Moses had a team. He didn't do his ministry alone. You do not have to do your calling alone. God with you and not against you.

Tenth, Go to church. Hebrews 10:24-25 states that we should forsake our assembly but encourage one another until you see the day approaching. We must be in fellowship with one another. Seek godly counsel of other men who went before you. The example of this is the disciples and the early church believers.

Eleventh, gather with like-minded people who empower you to pursue the calling God has placed on your life. Examples of this is Joshua and Caleb and Moses and Aaron. You do not have to do your calling alone. Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you. He is always there to comfort you as you pursue the calling on your life.

Twelfth, Meditate on the Word of God. The Word of God is true. The Word of God will light your path. The Word of God will empower your path. The Word of God is sharper than two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).

These are six more reasons on how to recognize you are called. Remember you are loved. You are known. You are child of God. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You do not have to go through life alone.

May God bless you and your family! Take care, my friends in Christ!
