Waymaker Youth Mission is proud to announce our partnership with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Kansas

Andrew Hawkins, the founder and president of Waymaker Youth Mission, is pleased to announce that we, as an organization, are having our first ever partnership with Child Evangelism Fellowship in the State of Kansas. Waymaker Youth Mission was born out of the love and mission to reach people for Christ by helping them know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. Waymaker Youth Mission is pleased to announce that Waymaker Youth Mission is partnering with Child Evangelism Fellowship permanently. Waymaker Youth Mission is allocating more resources (time only) into developing daily, weekly, and monthly devotionals for parents to use as they are discipling their child while they are attending After-School Bible Clubs. We are one generation away from losing our freedom. Children are the future. So, we must reach children.

Child Evangelism Fellowship mission to help children know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. Child Evangelism Fellowship is a global outreach and is in over 206 countries. Currently, our main mission is to evangelize, disciple, and evangelize. Child Evangelism Fellowship Chapter in Kansas are only in 30 schools in Kansas. He would love to see every public school have an After-School Bible Club in the State of Kansas.

The CEO of Waymaker Youth Mission, Andrew Hawkins, is becoming the ministry coordinator of Kansas (when he raises the necessary funds). He is currently undergoing the support raising. Support-raising can be a daunting, faith-filled task.

The founder of Waymaker Youth Mission has been heavily involved in the Child Evangelism Fellowship chapter of Kansas for numerous years, ever since 2017. He has been involved in the Children's ministry since 2013. He has experience in advertising faith-based events such as the Steve Green Concert, a COVID-19 Impact Seminar, and a Vaping Crisis Seminar as well. He, also, during those events partnered with the former state director of CEF of Kansas, Merv Wagner, as well as the Ohio State Representative Jena Powell. He also has been to numerous conferences--Summit Ministries, Forge Leadership Summit, Kidzmatter Mega-conference, CYIA, and CEF Guide Retreat.

He also partnered with West E. Free Church in 2023 to help lead small groups at CIY SuperStart. He, also, has been on Missions trips to Jamaica and also to Men's Encounter. He loves God. He loves his wonderful family. He loves Child Evangelism Fellowship. He is looking for supporters to help me in his role as the CEF of Kansas Ministry Coordinator.

He is so excited to partner with Child Evangelism Fellowship. The State Director, Nate Goossen and the CEO of Waymaker Youth Mission cannot do this ministry alone. We would love to partner with like-minded people to help make the reality of reaching 300,000 children for Christ in every public school in Kansas a reality. He is looking for people who have the resources and the ability to help mobilize young students (high school students) to minister in public schools.

If anyone is interested, we would love to host a TCE Level 1 workshop anytime. State Director Nate Goosen and Andrew Hawkins partner with local churches to make this ministry a success. We cannot do any ministry without the backing of the local church.

Now I will turn it over to the Founder of Waymaker Youth Mission. He has some encouraging words, He would like to say.

"There are moments in life when God allows us to witness something so beautiful, so unmistakably miraculous, that it marks us forever. One of those moments happened in the summer of 2017, when I arrived in Rexford, Kansas with a ministry team. I remembered that week—the long days, the laughter of children, the prayers whispered over meals lovingly prepared by our host family.

But Thursday… Thursday is the day I will never forget.

I was sharing the Gospel through the story of the Good Shepherd. As I spoke, I noticed two children—eyes wide, hearts open—leaning in as if the Holy Spirit Himself was drawing them closer. After the invitation, they approached me timidly and said, “Can you tell us more about Jesus?” That day, those precious children accepted Christ as their Savior. I still remember their faces. I still remember the joy. I still remember the miracle. I have never forgotten their names. They were a blessing to me and an encouragement to me as well.

And I long to see that miracle again and again.

If you choose to partner with me, Lord willing, these stories will multiply. I am training high school students to step boldly into the mission field, to experience the indescribable joy of leading a child to Christ.

But the truth is heartbreaking.

Imagine a child growing up in Kansas—right here in our own backyard—never hearing the name of Jesus. Imagine them facing fear, loneliness, and confusion without ever knowing the hope of John 3:16. For many children, this isn’t imagination. It is their everyday reality.

Only 2% of children in Kansas are being reached with the Gospel. 80% are not being reached through any church at all.

We cannot wait for them to come to us. We must go to them—into their neighborhoods, their trailer parks, their schools, their broken places, their quiet places, their forgotten places.

A Life Given to the Next Generation

My calling began in 2011, when I was just eleven years old. At Amazing Grace Baptist Camp, God spoke to my heart in a way I could not ignore. Even with a speech disability, He reminded me that He does not call the equipped—He equips the called. I surrendered my life to full‑time ministry that day. A call that never fades away.

For over a decade, I have watched God move in the hearts of children across Kansas. I have stood under trees in rural towns and seen 7‑ and 8‑year‑olds bow their heads and whisper the sweetest prayer a human can pray. These are not numbers. These are eternal souls. These are God’s children.

The Vision for Kansas

As Ministry Coordinator, I will be working alongside State Director Nate Goossen to:

  • Establish Vision & Strategy: Pursuing our long-term prayer to reach 300,000 children with the Gospel.

  • Recruit & Train: Mobilizing high school students through CYIA™ and equipping volunteers to lead Good News Clubs.

  • Launch New Clubs: Planting Good News Clubs and 5-Day Clubs in spiritually unreached areas across Kansas.

Will You Join Me in the Harvest?

Research shared by the Christian Post reveals that 64% of believers come to Christ before age 18. Childhood is the most spiritually open season of life. This is our moment. This is our window. This is our chance to reach them before the world hardens their hearts.

God placed you in my life for a reason. Your friendship has been a blessing I thank Him for often. As I step into this new chapter—my dream job, my calling—I am asking for something sacred.

I am asking for your prayers.

Ministry is spiritual warfare. I cannot do this without people who will stand in the gap for me. My prayer is that through your partnership, 300,000 children will come to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.

Beyond prayer, I am humbly asking you to consider joining my financial support team. To serve full-time as Ministry Coordinator, I must raise $4,400 per month. Monthly gifts of $25, $50, $100, $250—or whatever the Lord places on your heart—will allow me to devote myself fully to reaching the children of Kansas.

Where Your Investment Goes

Ministry & Operational Needs

Impact

Travel & Field Coordination

Allows me to visit clubs statewide and train volunteers in person.

Equips young missionaries with Gospel tools like the Wordless Book.

Personal Support & Housing

Enables me to serve full-time without distraction.

Every dollar is a seed planted in the heart of a child. Every prayer is a shield. Every partnership is a step toward reaching the next generation for Christ. If the Lord is leading you to join this mission—through prayer, monthly giving, or a one-time gift—I would be honored to have you on my team. If you know others who would resonate with this vision, please let me know. I would love to share this mission with them as well. You can call, email, or message me anytime. I am grateful for you, my viewers of Waymaker Youth Mission. We cannot exist without you. Waymaker Youth Mission will still be and will continue to be a free site. It is a registered nonprofit organization with the State of Kansas. However, I, the founder and CEO of Waymaker Youth Mission, am becoming the Ministry Coordinator of CEF of Kansas. I cannot do that without your support and make this partnership a reality."

So, as you can see, Andrew Hawkins is passionate for the ministry and passionate about CEF of Kansas. He wants to glorify God. However, He needs prayer and financial support that will go through CEF of Kansas. If you are able, He would love your prayers first. He currently has over 200 people praying for him on a daily basis. He would love to grow that number.

However, if you are in a financial place and are willing, he would love to add you to his donor list. He cannot exist without your prayer and financial support. Only give to CEF of Kansas. Pray that Waymaker Youth Mission can remain an organization while He is pursuing this passionate calling on his life. May God bless you and your families!
